About "Sustaina Kyoto Hydrangea Fair 2026"

At the Southern Clean Center's "Hydrangea Path," 10,000 colorful hydrangeas will be in full bloom. Please take this opportunity to visit Sustaina Kyoto!
※Viewing the hydrangeas is free of charge and no reservations are required.
※Groups of 10 or more people are kindly requested to notify Sustaina Kyoto in advance.
※Parking space is strictly limited. Please use the free temporary shuttle bus (see bottom of the page) or public transportation.

(Please note that Sustaina Kyoto will be open every day in June, including Wednesdays.)

Around June 10 (Based on Western hydrangeas from last year)

Viewing Hours
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (We kindly ask for your cooperation in leaving the premises by 5:00 PM.)
<Free Shuttle Bus Information>
During the fair, free shuttle buses will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from Takeda Station and Chushojima Station.
※The operation schedule will differ on June 6 (Sat) and June 7 (Sun) for the "10,000 Hydrangea Festival Day."
※Arrivals may be delayed due to traffic conditions.
※Boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis up to the bus capacity.
※The final departure from Sustaina Kyoto is expected to be very crowded, so we highly recommend taking an earlier bus for your return.

<Requests from the Southern Clean Center (Waste Treatment Facility)>
- Please follow the instructions of the staff on the premises.
- Many vehicles travel within the site, so please make sure to walk on the sidewalks.
- Please obey pedestrian signals when crossing intersections.
- Do not enter any areas outside the designated "Hydrangea Path."
- Pets are not allowed on the premises (except for service dogs).
- Trash cans are not available on site. Please take your trash home with you.
- Please do not pick or take home any hydrangeas.
- When taking photos or videos, please strictly follow Sustaina Kyoto's photography rules (link available).
Parking space is limited. Please use public transportation or the free shuttle bus operating on Saturdays and Sundays (link available) as much as possible.

In addition to the sidewalks along the Hydrangea Path, some of the roadways will be specially opened, allowing you to stroll freely inside the Southern Clean Center site. Special programs and exhibitions will also be held. For details, please check the event page (link available)!
